Reminder: Upgrade to Google Analytics 4

Have you heard that Google Analytics is getting an upgrade on July 1, 2023? On July 1, 2023, standard Universal Analytics properties will no longer process data. You’ll be able to see your Universal Analytics reports for a period of time after July 1, 2023. However, new data will only flow into Google Analytics 4 properties. Learn more

In order to continue working on blog campaigns, it will be necessary to update to the new Google Analytics property on or before July 1.

Google has automatically begun upgrading most accounts as of March, 2023, but you should log in and confirm that you are updated.

Beginning in March 2023, if you haven’t already created a GA4 property, we’ll create one for you, unless you opt out. This new property will be based on the settings in your Universal Analytics property.

Check your Blog Connection

One additional step that you need to take is to confirm that your blog connection is updated. If you use a plugin such as Monster Insights, this is a simple process where you can just select your new Google Analytics 4 code. Google also has a full list of help articles for each of the blog platforms.
